Share the unlock URL
Use the generated short URL in creator bios, affiliate campaigns, landing pages, social posts, or promotional content. Existing legacy links continue working through the same resolver logic.

Step 1 countdown page
Visitors land on a polished waiting page with trust messaging, progress indicators, and ad placements. After 15 seconds, the Get Link button becomes available.
Step 4
Step 2 final gate
The second waiting page confirms the destination domain, keeps the user in control, and reveals the final Get Link button after the second 15-second timer ends.
Step 5
Redirect and record the click
When the visitor clicks the final button, the redirect endpoint records the completed unlock and forwards the user to the destination URL using an HTTP redirect.

Frequently asked questions about the unlock flow
Why does the countdown take 15 seconds?
The 15-second wait is long enough for multiple ad units to load, register impressions, and generate revenue. Shorter waits result in incomplete ad loads and lower CPM. The duration is configurable per link in the dashboard.
Can visitors bypass the countdown?
No. The Get Link button is hidden until the countdown completes. The timer is server-side validated which prevents URL manipulation tricks from skipping the wait.
What happens if someone closes the page during the countdown?
The ad impressions recorded up to that point are still counted for revenue purposes. The click is not counted in your dashboard until the visitor completes Step 2 and reaches the destination.
Do links expire?
No. UnlockFlowURLS stores links without an expiry field. Short codes are permanent by default.
Can I use affiliate links as destinations?
Yes, as long as the destination complies with the affiliate network's terms and our acceptable use policy. We do not filter destination URLs by type — only by safety and accessibility.
How are clicks counted in the dashboard?
A click is recorded when a visitor completes Step 2 and triggers the final redirect. Visitors who abandon during the countdown are not counted as clicks.
