One Punch Man Season 3 has an official release window of July 2026 on Netflix globally. The official trailer is confirmed for release in late April 2026. JC Staff (known for Danmachi, Food Wars and Toradora) takes over animation duties from Madhouse who did Season 1, and from J.C. Staff actually previously did Season 2 which was criticized for lower animation quality. For Season 3, the production committee has reportedly given JC Staff a significantly higher budget and 18 additional months of production time — the combination that anime fans hope will restore the Season 1 quality.

Voice cast: The original Japanese cast returns entirely — Makoto Furukawa as Saitama, Kaito Ishikawa as Genos. English dub cast also returns with Max Mittelman as Saitama and Zach Aguilar as Genos. The dub will release simultaneously with the sub in July 2026.

Season 3 covers the Monster Association arc — the longest and most epic arc in the One Punch Man manga. The core premise: The Monster Association kidnaps the Hero Association chairman's grandson. Every hero is mobilized for an all-out assault on the Monster Association's underground base. This arc features the most fights of any arc in the series, introduces multiple new characters on both sides, and crucially gives Saitama a psychological challenge that goes beyond just physical combat — for the first time he questions the purpose of his own overwhelming strength.

Key fights to look forward to: Garou vs entire Hero Association (multiple battles), Tatsumaki vs Psykos underground battle (the most anticipated anime fight of 2026 according to MyAnimeList polls), and Saitama vs the Monster King — the fight that finally answers the question of what happens when Saitama faces someone who can actually challenge him.
